Community Partners in Caring is a volunteer recruitment and training organization engaged in providing free non-medical caregiving services to dependent older seniors age 62 and over. Our mission is to provide volunteer support services that allow our senior population to live independently while maintaining dignity, respect and quality of life. The challenges that our seniors face have become more acute, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Our seniors continue to need help in accessing daily needs, such as food, medical care, and human connection.
We are currently recruiting new board members to help steer the organization toward a sustainable future, meeting the ongoing needs of our senior population, and to ensure that the organization has adequate resources to advance its mission. In particular, we are seeking board members with experience in marketing, accounting or law, to join existing board members in forming a governing body that reflect a wide-range of backgrounds and skill sets. Incoming board members will provide guidance and direction on legal governance, financial management, and with advocacy efforts in the community.
This is an exciting time for the organization, as Community Partners in Caring advances its mission and seeks to expand its scope of services to our seniors. The organization is led by an effective executive director and dedicated support staff, committed to excellence and service. Incoming board members will have the opportunity to set policies that will help the organization best meet the needs of our senior population. If you have interest in serving our aging and dependent seniors in a leadership capacity, please consider the opportunity to serve as a board member for Community Partners in Caring.
