In 2021, She decided to join the CPC board. In November 2021, she left the board and became a vital part of the staff. Vickie has also volunteered for Lompoc Rape Crisis Center and Santa Maria Red Cross.

When asked what drew her to Community Partners in Caring:

“When Covid-19 started it made me realize how vulnerable and alone our aging community really is. I wanted to help them get through this rough time. The pandemic pushed me to find something meaningful and when I read about what CPC does for seniors, I knew it would be a perfect fit for me. I became a volunteer in March of 2020.”
